Ayyoub Bouaddi continues to make headlines. After another impressive performance with Morocco in a 1-1 draw against Brazil, the LOSC midfielder is further cementing his status as one of the brightest young talents in European football. While some reports suggest Paris Saint-Germain have cooled their interest, other sources insist the French champions remain fully involved in the race.
Bouaddi stood out once again against Brazil, attracting the attention of several elite clubs. Asked about his future after the match, the 18-year-old preferred to focus on the World Cup. “I’m really happy to know that some clubs are interested in me, but for now, I’m solely focused on the World Cup,” he told The Athletic.
PSG Still Monitoring Bouaddi
According to Marc Mechenoua for Onze Mondial, Bouaddi is still admired by PSG, but he is no longer considered an immediate transfer priority. The European champions are reportedly focusing their efforts on signing a young left-back and a left-footed right winger. No significant progress is said to have been made in recent weeks regarding the midfielder.
However, another version of events has emerged. According to several reports, including PSG Inside Actus on X, Bouaddi remains on Luis Campos’ shortlist. A meeting reportedly took place at the end of May to establish initial contact with the player’s entourage and assess the feasibility of a transfer. The Lille midfielder is said to be particularly attracted by PSG’s project, and the club has allegedly already prepared a contract proposal should negotiations with Lille begin.
One thing appears certain: competition will be fierce. Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester United are all closely monitoring the situation. Lille are expected to take advantage of the growing interest from Europe’s biggest clubs to drive up the price of their young star, who could become one of the most expensive sales in the club’s recent history.
