Paris Saint-Germain may have received one of the best pieces of news of its summer. According to PSGINSIDE-ACTUS, discussions regarding Ousmane Dembélé’s contract extension are progressing very positively, and an agreement appears to be getting closer.
Dembélé and PSG seem set to continue their journey together if current talks stay on track. The club and the player’s representatives have reportedly already reached common ground on several key aspects of the new deal. The contract length and salary package are said to have been agreed upon, with only a few details regarding bonuses and specific contractual clauses still needing to be finalized.
Dembélé Fully Committed to the PSG Project
Most importantly, there appears to be no doubt about the player’s intentions. Thriving in the French capital, Dembélé is reportedly eager to continue his adventure in Paris and establish himself as a long-term pillar of the club’s project, according to PSGINSIDE-ACTUS.
On the club’s side, however, there is no desire to rush the process. PSG’s management wants to handle the negotiations calmly and carefully, avoiding mistakes made during previous high-profile contract talks, particularly those involving Kylian Mbappé. Before Dembélé joined the French national team for the World Cup, all parties reportedly met and agreed to resume discussions in August. Neither side feels any urgency to finalize the deal immediately, highlighting the confidence surrounding the negotiations.
Another major factor working in PSG’s favor is the presence of Luis Enrique. The recent contract extension of the Spanish coach is believed to have reinforced Dembélé’s desire to remain in Paris. At this stage, all signs point toward the French international signing a new deal with the European champions before the end of the year.
