PSG’s New-Look XI for 2025-26 is Here

PSG

Paris Saint-Germain isn’t resting after a record-breaking season capped by a historic treble and Champions League glory. With smart reinforcements and a few big decisions already made, the blueprint for Luis Enrique’s starting XI next season is becoming clear.

PSG is preparing for a possible change between the posts. Lucas Chevalier, Lille’s 23-year-old standout, is set to arrive and compete with Gianluigi Donnarumma. Though the Italian remains number one for now, his contract runs out in 2026 and hasn’t been renewed — and several English clubs are circling. If he moves, Chevalier is ready to step up.

Zabarnyi joins the defense

In central defense, Ukrainian international Ilya Zabarnyi (22) is expected to arrive from Bournemouth for €60–70 million. His physical presence and composure on the ball will add depth alongside Marquinhos and Lucas Beraldo. Hakimi and Nuno Mendes will continue to occupy the full-back roles.

Midfield stability

No major changes are expected in midfield. Luis Enrique will stick with the trusted trio: Vitinha’s creativity, João Neves’ work rate, and Fabián Ruiz’s intelligence offer solid balance. Zaïre-Emery, Kang-In Lee, and Mayulu will rotate in.

A revamped front line ? No…

The biggest shift comes up front. Ousmane Dembélé, after a sensational season, is now the main striker. On the wings, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia takes charge on the left, while Désiré Doué, who shined late last season, is the top option on the right. Bradley Barcola remains a valuable alternative off the bench.

Projected Starting XI (2025–26):
Chevalier – Hakimi, Marquinhos or Zabarnyi, Pacho, Mendes – Vitinha, Neves, Ruiz – Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.

With depth, youth, and star power across the pitch, this version of PSG looks sharper than ever — and ready to conquer Europe once again.
