A European nightmare for the Parisian women. PSG Women have once again lost in the Champions League, this time on the pitch of Manchester United (1-2). Three matches, three defeats: the start of the campaign is turning into a disaster for the capital club.
PSG is sinking again in the Women’s Champions League. Paris had actually started well. A shot from Echegini hit the post, there was intensity, there was desire… but everything collapsed.
The Mancunians opened the scoring through Malard (31st minute), before Carmona equalized just before halftime with a superb long-range shot (45th+3). In the second half, despite another shot hitting the post from Ebayilin, the Parisian women succumbed to a header from Rolfö (65th).
The European dream fades away
As a result: a third defeat in three matches, and PSG remains stuck at zero points. The European dream is already fading for Paulo Cesar’s players, overwhelmed in a ruthless group.
