PSG vs Le Havre: Early Clues Point to a Rotated Line-Up

Ligue 1 returns this weekend for Matchday 13, with PSG hosting Le Havre on Saturday night. But Luis Enrique will once again have to deal with a long list of absentees.

Ligue 1 is back, and PSG are in for a busy stretch. Two weeks after snatching a late win in Lyon, the Parisian squad returns to the Parc des Princes, but not at full strength. Several key players are already ruled out, and Luis Enrique is expected to rest certain internationals as well.

A heavily rotated PSG expected

PSG remain top of the table, but recent draws against Strasbourg (3–3) and Lorient (0–0) exposed some vulnerabilities. The narrow victory in Lyon helped them stay ahead, but the squad is far from complete for this weekend.

Doué, Dembélé, Hakimi, and Nuno Mendes are all out. Some internationals, including the South Americans, plus likely Neves and Vitinha, should be rested.

On the other side, Le Havre arrive full of confidence. The Norman club haven’t lost in four matches and have created a healthy gap with the relegation zone. They sit 12th, four points clear of danger.

Probable PSG line-up:
Chevalier — Zaïre-Emery, Zabarnyi or Marquinhos, Beraldo, L. Hernandez — Vitinha or Ruiz, Mayulu, Lee — Kvaratskhelia, Ramos, Barcola

Probable Le Havre line-up:
Diaw — Nego, Sanganté, Lloris, Zouaoui — Seko — Touré, Ndiaye, Kechta — Mambimbi, Soumaré

An open match expected at the Parc des Princes

Despite being weakened, PSG remain favourites, but Le Havre’s momentum and fearless attitude could complicate things. Coach Didier Digard even promised he won’t “park the bus” in Paris.

Saturday night’s match could be lively: a reduced PSG, a confident Le Havre, and two teams ready to play.
