Good news could be on the way for Paris Saint-Germain. According to RMC Sport and journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Achraf Hakimi is still expected to be available for the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30 in Budapest.
Achraf Hakimi should be fit in time for the Champions League final. The Moroccan full-back missed the second leg against Bayern Munich, but optimism is now reportedly growing around his physical condition. The same positive trend also concerns Lucas Chevalier, who is likewise expected for the huge European showdown.
PSG Carefully Managing Injuries Before Arsenal Clash
Within the Parisian staff, the objective is now very clear: carefully manage the squad during the final Ligue 1 matches in order to avoid any unnecessary risks before the final.
Several players reportedly returned from Munich with minor physical issues. That is notably the case for Warren Zaïre-Emery, who suffered slight back pain after the qualification against Bayern. Luis Enrique and his staff are mainly focused on having a fully fit squad available to face Arsenal in this highly anticipated Champions League final.
