PSG vs Brest: Predicted Lineup, Massive Rotation Expected

Just a few days after qualifying for the Champions League final against Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain return to the Parc des Princes this Sunday evening to face Stade Brestois 29 on Matchday 33 of Ligue 1.

However, several questions remain surrounding the Parisian squad ahead of the match. PSG have confirmed multiple absences. Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes are both dealing with right thigh injuries and will remain under medical care in the coming days. Meanwhile, Warren Zaïre-Emery is suffering from lower back pain, officially confirmed by the club’s medical staff.

Major Squad Rotation Expected Before Arsenal Final

Quentin Ndjantou, Achraf Hakimi, and Lucas Chevalier are also continuing their recovery programs ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal.

With such a long injury list, Luis Enrique is expected to heavily rotate his squad against Brest in order to protect his regular starters before the huge European clash on May 30 in Budapest. Young goalkeeper Renato Marin could start between the posts, although there is reassuring news regarding Safonov, who was not included in the official medical report. In midfield, Ruiz is expected alongside Beraldo and Dro Fernandez, while Lee, Ramos, and Barcola should lead the attack.

The probable PSG lineup: Marin – Mayulu, Zabarnyi, Beraldo, Lucas Hernandez – Dro Fernandez, Lee, Ruiz – Mbaye, Ramos, Barcola. On the other side, Brest are expected to rely on a compact defensive block with Coudert in goal, while former PSG player Junior Dina Ebimbe could be one of the main attacking threats for the Breton side.
