Bradley Barcola’s future could become one of the major talking points of Paris Saint-Germain’s summer transfer window. Already heavily interested last summer, Liverpool have reportedly renewed their efforts to sign the PSG winger.
Barcola started on the bench during the Champions League final. Since the rise of Désiré Doué and the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the former Lyon star has slipped to fourth choice in PSG’s attacking hierarchy. A situation that could encourage him to seek a bigger role elsewhere. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Liverpool have recently opened discussions with the player’s representatives to assess the feasibility of a transfer.
Liverpool Intensify Interest in Barcola
After another strong season in Paris, Barcola remains an important member of Luis Enrique’s squad. However, several reports suggest PSG would not completely rule out a departure if an exceptional offer were to arrive. Under contract until 2028, the former Lyon winger still commands significant market value after proving himself at the highest level.
Behind the scenes, PSG are already considering possible replacements should Barcola leave. One name frequently mentioned in recent weeks is Yan Diomandé, the breakout star of RB Leipzig. The Ivory Coast international recently admitted that PSG is “a club he has loved since childhood,” further fueling speculation.
For now, no agreement exists between Liverpool and PSG. But after initial talks with Barcola’s agent, the situation could quickly gain momentum as the summer transfer window unfolds.
