For several weeks, PSG appeared to have taken a significant lead in the race to sign Yan Diomandé. But according to the latest reports from the English press and Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have absolutely not given up on bringing in the Ivorian winger from RB Leipzig, whose price is estimated at between €120 million and €130 million.

Liverpool and PSG Battle for Barcola and Diomandé

This is a blow for Paris, who had hoped to use a potential Bradley Barcola move to Anfield to partly finance Diomandé’s arrival. However, the Reds no longer necessarily see the French international as their absolute priority on the left wing.

Liverpool are still pushing for Yan Diomandé, whose performances in recent months have made him one of the sensations of the market. A fierce battle is now expected between the French and English European champions to convince both the player and his club.

PSG, however, still have arguments of their own. Luis Campos has been working on this file for a long time and remains confident. As for Bradley Barcola, he has no shortage of suitors, with Chelsea and Arsenal also closely monitoring his situation. One thing is certain: between Barcola and Diomandé, Liverpool and PSG are heading for one of the biggest clashes of the summer transfer window.
