PSG is “Excellent”, But Gonçalo Ramos Opens the Door to a Departure

Gonçalo Ramos is no longer hiding his ambitions. Regularly used as a luxury substitute for both PSG and the Portuguese national team, the 24-year-old striker spoke about his situation in an interview with Record, revealing some frustration over not having a bigger role.

“I can always contribute, and that has always been the case. In the national team, Cristiano Ronaldo needs no introduction. During my first year at PSG, Mbappé was there. Today, there is Ousmane Dembélé, who also needs no introduction. Despite this level of excellence, I can make a difference, be decisive, and help the team. It proves my mentality, resilience, and qualities,” said the Portuguese international.

Milan Monitoring Ramos Situation

The statement sounds like a bid for more playing time—or perhaps a message aimed at other clubs. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan is closely monitoring the Paris striker’s situation as the Italian club looks to strengthen its attack this summer.

After several seasons spent in the shadow of PSG’s stars, Gonçalo Ramos could be tempted by a new challenge. Under contract with the French champions until 2028, the Portuguese forward remains highly rated thanks to his solid numbers: 45 goals in 130 appearances for Paris despite rarely being considered an undisputed starter.

AC Milan, now managed by Massimiliano Allegri, is particularly interested in Ramos’ profile. However, convincing PSG to sell him will not be easy. The Parisian club has no intention of letting its striker leave cheaply, while several other European teams are also keeping a close eye on his situation. One thing is certain: at 24 years old, the former Benfica player appears to have reached a key turning point in his career, and his comments are likely to fuel transfer speculation in the coming weeks.
