Could Paris Saint-Germain reunite the Doué brothers in the French capital? While Désiré Doué has established himself as an important player in the Parisian project, the name of his brother Guela is beginning to be linked with the club.
Could both Doué brothers play for PSG next season? Several sources have revived the Guela Doué story. The Strasbourg player could fit the profile Paris are looking for as a high-quality backup to Achraf Hakimi, and a significant clue has now added weight to the rumour.
Guela Doué Emerges as a Potential Hakimi Backup
According to journalist Orazio Accomando, Guela Doué has recently changed representatives. The Ivory Coast international is now reportedly represented by Moussa Sissoko, the agent of Ousmane Dembélé and several other high-profile players.
This change of agent comes as an earlier report about PSG’s transfer plans has resurfaced. According to Samir Djabali, the French champions were monitoring a Strasbourg player at the beginning of the summer. However, the player in question was not Ismaël Doukouré, whose name had also been linked with the club.
Guela Doué’s profile could therefore match that target. Capable of playing on the right side of defence, he could provide Luis Enrique with an interesting option to strengthen his squad. However, no contact or negotiations have been confirmed at this stage, meaning the prospect of Guela joining his brother Désiré at PSG remains purely speculative despite his change of agent and Paris’ reported interest in a Strasbourg player.
