Paris Saint-Germain officially return to training this Monday at the PSG Campus. After several weeks of holiday, the Rouge et Bleu begin their summer preparations with an opening day devoted to the traditional medical tests, physical assessments and gym work. Depending on the schedule, some players could also return to the training pitches on the first day.
PSG are back! From 11 a.m., Luis Enrique is expected to welcome an initial group mainly made up of players who were not involved in the World Cup. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Matvey Safonov, Lucas Chevalier, Illia Zabarnyi, Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu, Dro Fernández and Alessandro Longoni are all expected at the PSG Campus.
Young Players Included in the First Group
Three academy players will also take part in the return to training: Boly, Lucea and Abo El Nay, who will have the opportunity to impress the coaching staff. The day will also mark Ndjantou’s return. After a lengthy absence, the PSG academy graduate is continuing his rehabilitation and has been at the Campus since July 17 to prepare for his return to competitive action in the best possible conditions.

Randal Kolo Muani and Renato Sanches, however, are not expected to join the senior squad. The two players will remain with the development group while awaiting possible departures during the summer transfer window. The internationals who competed at the World Cup will be given additional rest before gradually returning at the beginning of August.
If everything goes according to plan, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz, Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé, Gianluigi Donnarumma and the other World Cup players will rejoin the squad over the coming days. Luis Enrique’s aim is to have a full squad available before the Trophée des Champions against Lens on August 16, allowing PSG to prepare for their first official match of the season in the best possible conditions.
