Arnau Tenas has been loaned to Mallorca in an effort to revive his career. The former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper joined the Yellow Submarine a year ago for €2.5 million but failed to establish himself permanently, making only ten La Liga appearances during the 2025-2026 season.

A Fresh Opportunity for Tenas at Mallorca

Tenas had nevertheless finished last season as Villarreal’s first-choice goalkeeper, raising hopes that he could move up the pecking order. However, the club ultimately decided to send him out on loan so that he could benefit from greater consistency and regular playing time.

At Mallorca, the FC Barcelona academy graduate hopes to finally put together a run of matches and give his career fresh momentum. After spells at PSG and Villarreal, Tenas is opening a new chapter in Spain and will now aim to prove that he can establish himself as a genuine number one goalkeeper.
