Lucas Chevalier’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is becoming increasingly uncertain. Signed from Lille in the summer of 2025 to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma, the French goalkeeper has failed to establish himself as the club’s undisputed first choice.
Chevalier could now be pushed toward the exit. After several inconsistent performances, the 24-year-old gradually lost his place to Matvey Safonov, with the Russian goalkeeper currently appearing to have the upper hand in Luis Enrique’s hierarchy.
Premier League and Serie A Clubs Alerted
The potential arrival of Zion Suzuki could make his situation even more complicated. PSG have reportedly submitted a significant offer to Parma for the 23-year-old Japan international, and an agreement would leave Paris with three goalkeepers capable of competing for a major role.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Chevalier has already been offered to several Premier League and Serie A clubs through an agent. A departure could help him regain regular playing time, although PSG are unlikely to accept just any proposal for a player signed only one year ago.
No interested club has yet been named and no concrete offer has reportedly been submitted, while Suzuki’s move is not finalized either. However, should the Japanese goalkeeper join PSG, a loan or permanent transfer for Chevalier could become a serious option during the current transfer window.
