Lens vs PSG: Paris’ Predicted Line-Up for the Trophée des Champions

Paris Saint-Germain face RC Lens in the Trophée des Champions on Sunday, only four days after beating Aston Villa 2-1 in the European Super Cup. That victory allowed several key players to build up valuable match fitness before another important fixture.

Achraf Hakimi and Warren Zaïre-Emery played the entire match against Villa, while Désiré Doué completed 87 minutes. Vitinha, João Neves and Nuno Mendes also received significant playing time, with Ousmane Dembélé and Maghnes Akliouche each featuring for one half.

Luis Enrique could make several changes

PSG should therefore be physically better prepared than they were a few days ago, although Luis Enrique could rotate his squad to manage workloads. Hakimi, Marquinhos and Doué are among the players who could be rested, while Matvey Safonov is expected to remain in goal.

Warren Zaïre-Emery could once again be deployed on the right side of defence. Vitinha and João Neves are expected to start in midfield alongside Senny Mayulu, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé and Ibrahim Mbaye could form the attacking trio.
