PSG travel to Lille this Friday evening at 8:45 p.m. for the opening match of the second round of Ligue 1 fixtures. For the game, Luis Enrique has selected a reduced 20-man squad, exactly the maximum number of players allowed on the matchday team sheet.
Paris will be without several players in Lille, with João Neves the main surprise. The Portuguese midfielder had been tipped to start but has ultimately been ruled out due to illness, according to CulturePSG. PSG have not issued a medical update, however, meaning the information has not been officially confirmed.

His absence is therefore not believed to be linked to injury, suspension or a decision to rest him. Quentin Ndjantou has also been left out, while Senny Mayulu returns to the squad after missing the trip to Rennes. PSG will also be without Ousmane Dembélé, who has been rested with the agreement of the coaching staff, and Nuno Mendes, who is serving the second game of his three-match suspension. Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, both of whom could leave the club before the transfer window closes, will not make the trip either.
