Warren Zaïre-Emery delivered a composed yet ambitious message ahead of the decisive second-leg clash against Bayern Munich. Despite conceding four goals in the first meeting, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder refuses to completely change the team’s approach.
With Achraf Hakimi unavailable due to injury, Zaïre-Emery is expected to fill the role on the right flank. The young Parisian remains calm about the responsibility ahead. “I think we will need to do the same things as in the first leg. We defended well, yet we still conceded four goals.” He highlighted the adjustments PSG must make: “We will need to defend higher up the pitch, double or triple up defensively, and make collective efforts together.”
PSG Determined to Keep Attacking Against Bayern
Faithful to Paris Saint-Germain’s attacking identity, Zaïre-Emery made the team’s intentions clear. “We will try to impose our style of play, press as we do in every match, and recover as many balls as possible. This team is built to attack, and that’s what we will try to do tomorrow.” PSG’s objective is straightforward: reproduce the offensive quality shown in the first leg while correcting the defensive mistakes.
On a personal level, the French international is preparing for a demanding battle against Luis Díaz. “Regarding Luis Díaz, I will do my best.” Zaïre-Emery also reflected on his recent development: “What has changed is the experience, the number of matches, and playing regularly. The more we play, the more we grow and improve. But I remain the same person no matter where I am placed on the pitch.” His ambition is equally clear: “We hope to reach the final for a second time and win tomorrow.”
Finally, the midfielder praised the unwavering support of PSG fans expected in Munich. “The supporters are always there, at home and away, whether we lose or win. We are proud to represent all these people, and they will once again be there to support us tomorrow and make plenty of noise.”
