FIFA has officially unveiled the financial rewards for the revamped Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025 — and Paris Saint-Germain is in for a potential windfall.
As the only French club qualified for the tournament, PSG stands to benefit significantly. Like other European sides, the Parisians will earn between €11.87 million and €35.4 million just for participating, with the exact figure depending on a mix of sporting and commercial criteria.
Performance Bonuses
Here are the performance-based rewards:
- Group stage win: €1.85 million
- Group stage draw: €930,000
- Round of 16 qualification: €6.95 million
- Quarter-final qualification: €12.15 million
- Semi-final qualification: €19.45 million
- Finalist: €27.7 million
- Tournament winner: €37 million
Up to €115 Million for a Perfect Campaign
Should PSG win every group stage match and go on to lift the trophy, the club could collect as much as €115 million — including up to €87.6 million in match-related bonuses and €27.7 million for full participation. That’s nearly on par with the €126 million Real Madrid earned for winning the 2023–2024 Champions League.
FIFA Says “All for the Clubs”
In a rare move, FIFA stated that 100% of revenue from the competition will be distributed among the clubs. “FIFA won’t keep a single cent,” the organization claimed — a gesture aimed at quelling criticism of the tournament and boosting club participation.
With such staggering sums on the line, PSG — and other European giants — now have even more reason to take the Club World Cup seriously.
