After PSG’s qualification against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena (1-1, 6-5 on aggregate), Fabian Ruiz did not hide his satisfaction. The Spanish midfielder praised Paris’ collective performance after an especially intense match in Germany.
PSG are flying high. Following the incredible qualification for the Champions League final, Fabian Ruiz is enjoying the moment. “We are very happy. We played a great match against a very difficult team of the highest level,” the Parisian player told PSG TV.
Fabian Ruiz Already Focused on the Champions League Final
For Fabian Ruiz, delivering such a performance in Bayern’s stadium carried special meaning. “Playing a great match here, the way we did, is not easy,” he explained after the final whistle.
The 30-year-old midfielder also thanked the PSG supporters, who were loud and fully behind the team throughout the match. “Coming here, to Bayern’s stadium, and singing for 90 minutes is not easy. Thank you very much,” he said.
Despite the excitement of qualification, Fabian Ruiz already has the final on his mind. “There is one match left to become European champions for a second time,” the Spaniard reminded everyone, while insisting on the need to recover quickly and continue working before the huge European showdown.
