PSG Continue Their Historic Ligue 1 Domination

Eventually, Kvaratskhelia broke the deadlock in the 29th minute after a superb assist from Ousmane Dembélé. Despite several huge chances for Lens, including a Sima strike off the post in the second half, the Parisian club held firm until the end to officially confirm another domestic crown. Luis Enrique even handed a few minutes to youngsters Mbaye and Lucea late in the game before the celebrations exploded at the final whistle. On a lightning counterattack, Désiré Doué set up Mbaye, who curled his shot perfectly into the top-right corner for the final 2-0 scoreline.

With this new title, PSG further confirm their domination of French football. The club had previously won Ligue 1 in 1986, 1994, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 before now adding the 2026 crown. Paris have also secured a historic fifth consecutive Ligue 1 title.
