During the exchange, the Emir of Qatar could not resist teasing Emmanuel Macron. Smiling, he told the French president that he was “pretending to be happy” about PSG’s triumph, a direct reference to Macron’s reputation as an Olympique de Marseille supporter, PSG’s eternal rival.
