The future of Kang-In Lee continues to fuel transfer speculation. Limited to a secondary role in recent months at Paris Saint-Germain, the 25-year-old South Korean international remains a highly sought-after player across Europe, with his name regularly linked to Atlético Madrid.
However, a new and prestigious contender has now emerged. According to Sport, FC Barcelona recently inquired about the PSG midfielder’s situation during a meeting with representatives connected to Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra.
Barcelona Monitoring Lee’s Situation
For now, though, there has been no concrete move from the Catalan club. Barcelona are said to have simply gathered information regarding Kang-In Lee’s contractual and sporting status, without taking any further steps at this stage.
No negotiations are currently underway, and no official contact has been made with PSG. The matter remains at the information-gathering phase, although Barcelona’s executives are reportedly keeping a close eye on the player’s development.
Under contract with the European champions until 2028, Kang-In Lee remains a valued member of the Paris squad. Yet with the possibility of a contract extension on one side and growing interest from Spain on the other, his future could become one of the major transfer stories of the summer.
