Paris Saint-Germain won the second Champions League title in the club’s history after a nerve-racking final against Arsenal. Trailing from the 6th minute following a goal by Kai Havertz, Luis Enrique’s men struggled for long periods against the London side’s defensive block before leveling the score through an Ousmane Dembélé penalty.
After 120 minutes of intense battle, the two teams had to be separated by a penalty shootout. More composed from the spot, PSG eventually prevailed thanks to a decisive Matvey Safonov and flawless penalty takers.

Matvey Safonov (8/10)
The Russian goalkeeper delivered when it mattered most. He produced several important saves against Saka, Trossard and Gyokeres before becoming the hero of the penalty shootout and securing European glory for PSG.
Achraf Hakimi (7/10)
Very active down the right flank despite an enormous workload. Solid defensively and perfect from the penalty spot during the shootout.
Marquinhos (7.5/10)
The PSG captain made several crucial interventions, including a vital recovery tackle on Havertz in the first half. A true leader until his substitution.
Willian Pacho (8/10)
Outstanding once again. Dominant in duels, strong in the air and constantly available to clear danger. A top-class defensive display.
Nuno Mendes (6/10)
Dangerous going forward but occasionally vulnerable defensively. He created several promising situations but also survived a controversial moment involving Madueke. His missed penalty slightly tarnishes his overall performance.
João Neves (8/10)
Relentless from start to finish. Always available, aggressive in recovery and invaluable in transition. Another huge performance from the Portuguese midfielder.
Vitinha (8/10)
PSG’s midfield conductor once again controlled the rhythm of the match. He came close to scoring the winning goal before leaving the pitch exhausted with cramps.
Fabian Ruiz (6.5/10)
Very involved in PSG’s possession game. He found himself in several promising positions but lacked precision in the final third.
Désiré Doué (8/10)
One of PSG’s best players on the night. Dynamic, creative and dangerous every time he touched the ball. He also converted his penalty with remarkable composure.
Ousmane Dembélé (8.5/10)
Quiet for long spells against Arsenal’s defensive block, but he stepped up when PSG needed him most. His penalty brought Paris back into the game and his constant movement troubled the Arsenal defense before he was forced off through injury.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (7.5/10)
The Georgian was PSG’s main attacking threat. He won the penalty that led to the equalizer and also struck the post. Dangerous throughout despite some wastefulness.
The Substitutes
Bradley Barcola (6/10)
Introduced late in the game, he added pace and created two huge chances but was unable to convert either of them.
Gonçalo Ramos (7/10)
Saw little of the ball but showed tremendous composure by converting PSG’s opening penalty in the shootout.
Warren Zaïre-Emery (6.5/10)
Came on during extra time and brought fresh energy and intensity to midfield battles.
Lucas Beraldo (7/10)
A composed cameo under immense pressure. He confidently converted his penalty during the shootout.
Man of the Match: Ousmane Dembélé (8.5/10)
In a tightly contested final where every detail mattered, Dembélé stepped up when PSG appeared to be on the brink. His penalty completely changed the momentum of the match before Paris eventually prevailed in the shootout. A captain’s performance from PSG’s Ballon d’Or star.
