On the eve of facing Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced the squad selected by Luis Enrique. There is good news for the Spanish coach, with a full-strength group available for the first major fixture of the season.
PSG will head into the UEFA Super Cup with all available first-team players included. Every player who has returned to training has been selected by Luis Enrique for the clash against Aston Villa.
PSG welcome back several key players
The seven players who returned to collective training on Monday — Achraf Hakimi, Fabian Ruiz, Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, Lucas Digne, Lucas Hernandez and Désiré Doué — have all been included in the squad. Their return means several academy youngsters who featured regularly during the summer preparation have dropped out.
The selected squad is as follows: Goalkeepers: Longoni, Chevalier, Safonov. Defenders: Hakimi, Beraldo, Marquinhos, Zabarnyi, Digne, Hernandez, Nuno Mendes, Pacho. Midfielders: Ruiz, Vitinha, Mayulu, Dro Fernandez, Zaïre-Emery, Joao Neves. Forwards: Dembélé, Akliouche, Doué, Barcola, Ndjantou, Mbaye.
