Luis Campos, a close sports advisor to Kylian Mbappé, could be on the chopping block following the player’s departure next summer, according to L’Equipe.

According to L’Equipe, PSG’s sports advisor Luis Campos could well be sacked after Kylian Mbappé leaves. “For several weeks now, the idea of Luis Campos leaving has been gaining traction. The football advisor finds himself in an increasingly uncomfortable position, especially as Mbappé is set to leave and he was recruited precisely to convince the French international to extend his stay in Paris for as long as possible,” assures the sports daily.

“For now, nobody at the club confirms the Portuguese’s imminent departure. But neither does anyone in high positions seem to oppose it. ‘We will assess the situation in July,’ is the only response given on this matter. So, until the summer, Campos, who still has a year left on his contract with Paris and claims to feel comfortable there, acts as if he is planning for the medium term.”

“Not Many Would Advocate for Him”

“But he himself is not oblivious to the situation. He knows why he came two years ago, and he knows why he might leave this summer. Privately, in a joking manner, he sometimes remarks, ‘The day Kylian leaves, I know I won’t stay.'”
