The referee deemed that Beraldo had pushed Aubameyang in a shoulder-to-shoulder duel, deeming him the last defender.
In the corridors at halftime, PSG’s sports advisor Luis Campos had to be restrained by other club members as he vented his anger outside the referees’ dressing room, shouting, “The referee hadn’t even blown his whistle! You’re useless!”
