PSG has been fined by the court for wage disparities within the club.

According to L’Équipe, a judicial decision has been made against Paris Saint-Germain. The club has been fined a significant amount by the court due to a breach of gender equality in wages. This penalty does not concern the 2023-2024 season but previous years. PSG is contesting this decision.

“An amount of several million euros: that’s what the labor inspection imposed on Paris Saint-Germain a few weeks ago for non-compliance with the gender equality index on wages. This sanction concerns past seasons but not the current one ending on June 30. For this last one, PSG is in compliance,” explains L’Équipe.

“The French champions have decided to contest the labor inspection’s sanction by highlighting all the efforts made in recent months to comply with gender pay equality.”
