PSG lost 3-2 against FC Barcelona in the Champions League. But according to Le Parisien, the players are in high spirits.

A heavy defeat, a setback? Not at all. PSG believes in themselves, and the return leg will be different. Luis Enrique reiterated this in a press conference on Wednesday night after the 3-2 loss to Barça in the Champions League. And according to Le Parisien, optimism reigns in the locker room.

“Hope and self-confidence: these are the key words coming out of the Parisian locker room after a short night’s rest. It is in this state of mind that the Parisians, aware of their shortcomings but not discouraged, began preparing for their Champions League quarter-final return leg in Catalan territory,” explains the sports daily.

PSG will have time to recover. The Ligue 1 match scheduled for this weekend against Lorient has been rescheduled by the LFP. Paris will therefore arrive in Barcelona on Tuesday night completely rested, in shape… and motivated. Some players, like Kylian Mbappé, will have a lot to prove.
