Once considered one of the brightest prospects in Paris Saint-Germain’s academy, Pierre Mounguengue is preparing to move on. At just 18 years old, the striker reportedly failed to reach an agreement over his first professional contract with PSG and is now heading toward an exit.
Another young talent appears ready to leave the club. According to PSG insider Djamel, Mounguengue is very close to joining Dynamo Kyiv. The Ukrainian side has reportedly moved ahead of both Strasbourg and Danish club Midtjylland in the race for his signature.
Dynamo Kyiv Leading the Race
According to the same source, the sporting project presented by Dynamo Kyiv, combined with the personal involvement of the club’s president, played a major role in convincing the player to choose the Ukrainian club.
Mounguengue’s objective is clear: take the next step in his career and secure regular first-team playing time. That promise of immediate opportunities could help accelerate his development away from Paris.
The potential departure would mark another academy exit for PSG, as several young players have already left the club in recent weeks in search of greater opportunities elsewhere.
