Has PSG already secured one of the most exciting signings of its summer transfer window? According to several Russian media outlets, Aleksey Batrakov is edging ever closer to a move to Paris.
Unlike the usual transfer speculation and uncertainty, reports from Russia appear remarkably confident. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder from Lokomotiv Moscow has been linked with the European champions for several weeks, and one of his representatives has now confirmed that negotiations are at an advanced stage.
Batrakov Closing In on Paris Move
“There is a 95% chance that Batrakov will join PSG,” Dmitry Cheltsov stated on the YouTube channel Komment.Show. The agent also revealed that Luis Campos is expected to travel to Moscow in the coming days to finalize the transfer.
According to the same source, the deal could be completed for around €25 million. That fee is considered relatively affordable for a player widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Russian football.
Following the arrivals of players such as Désiré Doué, João Neves and Willian Pacho, PSG would once again be investing in youth and long-term potential. The only remaining question is whether the final 5% of uncertainty will derail the move or confirm Batrakov’s arrival in the French capital once and for all.
