PSG is attempting to convince Xavi Simons to come to Paris next season. A discussion took place with PSG coach, Luis Enrique.

According to PSG Inside Actus on X, a meeting between Luis Enrique and Simons occurred on Tuesday. The objective: to persuade Xavi Simons that he would have an important role to play at PSG next season.

For the moment, Xavi Simons has not made his decision. “Anything is possible. But it’s highly likely that if Paris once again loans the player (which is not the case at the moment), a one-year extension will be considered,” explains this source.

Xavi Simons primarily wishes to be significant within the PSG collective. Otherwise, he will go elsewhere. According to Sport, PSG rejected a loan to Barcelona and is only demanding a transfer, valued at around 60 million euros. RB Leipzig is interested, while the Catalans cannot match this sum.
