Luis Enrique Set for a Long-Term Future
The Parisian president did not hide his admiration for the man who guided the club to a second consecutive Champions League title. “The coach is very happy with us, very happy in Paris. We are proud of him; he is the best coach in the world,” said the Qatari executive.
When asked about the possibility of a new four-year deal, Al-Khelaïfi left little room for doubt. “We are proud of him. What do you think that means?” he replied with a smile, strongly hinting that an agreement is close.
Since arriving in Paris in 2023, Luis Enrique has established himself as one of the key figures of the club’s project. Barring a major surprise, an extension until 2030 now appears to be only a matter of time.
