Bruno Guimaraes’ agent, Alexis Malavolta, was at the Parc des Princes to watch PSG vs Rennes in recent days. Naturally, rumors of the Brazilian’s arrival intensified.
In England, The Shields Gazette asserts that PSG is indeed in pursuit of him. And an important detail about the player’s release clause is revealed. It’s said to be €116 million. However, Newcastle had been cautious, and this clause is reportedly reserved for foreign clubs only. Premier League clubs would thus need to negotiate for a transfer, which would obviously be more complicated.
Manchester City and Liverpool are also in the mix to sign the former Lyon player. But PSG seems to be taking a slight lead.
