PSG is set to clean up its squad during the summer transfer window. Several players are being asked to leave.

Luis Enrique has warned: PSG will recruit at least one player for each position. So, there will be at least 3, possibly 4 signings. And to make room for these new recruits, Paris wants departures. According to L’Équipe, the players have already been targeted: Carlos Soler, Milan Skriniar, Manuel Ugarte, and Nordi Mukiele are being pushed out.

According to L’Équipe, Carlos Soler, signed for €18 million from Valencia in 2022, has contacts with Aston Villa. The player is under contract with Paris until 2027.

Nordi Mukiele, former RB Leipzig player, signed for €10 million in the summer of 2022, is also being sidelined by Luis Enrique and is expected to leave. Several prestigious clubs are interested: Chelsea and Bayern Munich, in particular.

Manuel Ugarte also needs to leave. Bought for a hefty sum of €60 million last summer from Sporting, the player is not wanted by Luis Enrique. “Can PSG open the door to a departure? Asked to respond to this question, the club did not follow up. Internally, the departure of the Uruguayan is not a taboo subject. But not under any conditions or at any price,” assures L’Équipe. The player has been offered to AC Milan and Juventus.

Milan Skriniar has also been sidelined since his injury and is not in Luis Enrique’s plans. “His professionalism is praised internally, but his style of play does not necessarily fit the wishes of the Spanish coach,” highlights L’Équipe. “In his entourage, they can’t imagine leaving the club this summer. In any case, no message to this effect has been communicated to him,” concludes L’Équipe.
