Have Paris Saint-Germain already identified a serious target to strengthen their attack? Speaking ahead of the friendly match between Ivory Coast and France, Yan Diomandé dropped a hint that certainly did not go unnoticed.
Diomandé can easily imagine himself wearing the PSG shirt. Linked with the European champions in recent weeks, the RB Leipzig winger initially avoided discussing his future. However, when asked about the Parisian club, the 19-year-old Ivorian made a comment that has already sparked plenty of speculation.
PSG Interest Grows Around Diomandé
“It’s a team I’ve loved since I was a child,” he admitted before adding a note of caution: “But I’m not looking too far ahead. I’m focused on the World Cup, and we’ll see what happens afterward.”
After scoring 12 Bundesliga goals this season, Diomandé has become one of the most sought-after young talents in Europe. Leipzig, however, have no intention of letting him leave cheaply. According to several reports, the German club would demand close to €100 million before considering a sale.
For now, PSG have not made an official move. But if changes occur in the attacking department this summer, the deal could quickly gain momentum. One thing is certain: the prospect of joining Paris does not appear to leave Yan Diomandé indifferent.
