Paris Saint-Germain may be dealing with one of the most explosive transfer sagas of the summer. After an impressive first season in the Premier League with Bournemouth, Eli Junior Kroupi has already attracted the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs.
According to Foot Mercato, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, FC Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are all closely monitoring the former Lorient wonderkid. Competition for the young French talent is expected to be fierce, even for the reigning European champions.
PSG Hold an Advantage in the Race
However, PSG may have a significant edge in the battle for his signature. The same source reports that the France Under-21 international is particularly attracted by the idea of joining the Parisian club and would welcome a return to France.
The main obstacle remains the transfer fee. Bournemouth have no intention of letting their 19-year-old gem leave on the cheap and are reportedly demanding close to €100 million before considering a sale.
PSG appreciate Kroupi’s profile, but at that price, Luis Campos will have to think carefully before launching a serious move for one of the most sought-after young players in Europe.
