Yan Diomandé Breaks Silence on PSG Transfer

Yan Diomandé is at the heart of a huge transfer saga. Linked with PSG, and even said to be close to the Parisian club according to several sources, the young RB Leipzig forward was asked about his future during a press conference with Ivory Coast. But the 19-year-old preferred to play things down.

He is the major attacking signing being targeted by PSG. But he says he knows nothing about it. Faced with rumours sending him to Paris, Yan Diomandé insisted he does not follow news about his future. “You are informing me. I don’t have internet, I don’t have Instagram, I don’t have TikTok. There are no discussions with the club. My agent is the one talking. I don’t have any information,” he explained.

Diomandé Focused on Ivory Coast Amid PSG Rumours

The Ivory Coast international does not want to be distracted by the transfer market in the middle of the World Cup. His priority is clear: staying focused on his national team. “I don’t want to talk about that, even with my agent, because I want to enjoy the World Cup with my country. I want to make history with my country. I want to enjoy it and give my best,” Diomandé added.

Behind the scenes, however, PSG are still moving forward on this deal. According to RMC Sport and Fabrizio Romano, Yan Diomandé has already given his approval to the capital club. Paris want to move quickly to land one of the biggest attacking talents of the moment, but RB Leipzig clearly have no intention of selling their player on the cheap.

Under contract until 2030, Diomandé is valued at a colossal price. Leipzig are reportedly demanding more than €100 million for an immediate transfer. Another formula could still be discussed: a slightly lower fee if PSG agree to leave the player in Germany for one more season on loan. For now, the player himself is keeping his distance from the rumours. While his agent handles the talks, Yan Diomandé only wants to think about the pitch and Ivory Coast. But one thing is certain: once the World Cup is over, his future could very quickly become one of the hottest stories of PSG’s transfer window.
