Bradley Barcola has not exactly reassured PSG supporters. Speaking at a press conference with the France national team on Thursday, the Paris winger was asked about his future, with his name increasingly linked to the Premier League.
Bradley Barcola is keeping the mystery alive over his future. The 23-year-old, under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028, did not close the door to a departure. But he also refused to fuel the rumours further in the middle of the World Cup.
Barcola Keeps PSG Waiting
“For now, I am really focused on the World Cup. As for what will happen afterwards, for now, honestly, I don’t know,” the former Lyon player calmly replied. A cautious statement, but one that was inevitably noticed. Barcola’s situation is one of the hottest files of the Paris transfer window, with Liverpool and Arsenal still closely monitoring him while PSG are already working on several attacking options such as Maghnes Akliouche and Yan Diomandé.
Paris, however, have no intention of selling Bradley Barcola on the cheap. According to The Athletic, the two-time European champions would demand at least €135 million before even considering a transfer. A huge figure that shows just how important the player remains in the Paris project.
At 23, Barcola is still highly appreciated by Luis Enrique. His pace, directness and ability to make the difference make him a valuable asset, even if PSG are already planning for the future of their attack. Paris’ position is therefore clear: signing another forward does not necessarily mean Barcola will leave. And if an English club really wants to make a move, it will have to come up with a massive offer.
