Bradley Barcola could be entering his final weeks as a Paris Saint-Germain player. After three trophy-filled seasons in the French capital, the winger has reportedly informed Luis Campos of his desire to seek a new challenge during the summer transfer window.
Under contract with PSG until June 2028, the 23-year-old wants to keep all his options open for the next stage of his career. According to TEAMtalk, Barcola has officially told the Paris sporting adviser of his intentions, with the aim of joining a club capable of offering him a more important role and greater consistency.
Barcola Wants to Lead a New Project
Competition in PSG’s attacking department has increased considerably, with Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia now playing major roles in Luis Enrique’s plans. This situation could push the former Lyon player towards the exit, as he reportedly wants to become one of the leading figures of a new project. The Premier League would be his preferred destination, with Liverpool closely monitoring his situation as they search for a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, whose departure was announced this summer. Arsenal are also believed to be among the clubs most interested in PSG’s number 29.
PSG, however, remain firm in their position. The club do not want to sell Bradley Barcola, while Luis Enrique particularly appreciates his pace, profile and ability to unsettle opposing defences. The French international is still regarded as an important player for the future of the Parisian project.
Nevertheless, the management would not want to keep a player who is determined to leave against his will. According to L’Équipe, Paris could consider opening the door if they receive an exceptional offer of around €150 million. Liverpool and Arsenal currently appear to be the two most serious contenders, but it remains to be seen whether either club will be prepared to meet PSG’s demands.
