Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly very close to finalizing the arrival of Mika Godts. The Ajax Amsterdam winger is expected to sign for the Parisian club by the end of the week.
Mika Godts finally looks set to join PSG. According to Canal+ journalist Olivier Tallaron, the deal is expected to be worth between €50 million and €60 million. It is a significant fee for a player who has been targeted for several weeks by Luis Campos and PSG, who believe he can further strengthen their attacking options.
A transfer saga nearing its conclusion
PSG had already made concrete progress on the deal in recent days. An initial offer believed to be around €40 million plus €5 million in bonuses was rejected by Ajax, who wanted more to part ways with their young winger. Paris then prepared a new bid worth between €50 million and €55 million, while the Dutch club hoped to secure a fee closer to €60 million.
For his part, Mika Godts had already agreed on the main terms of a long-term contract with PSG. The remaining discussions therefore focused mainly on the transfer fee, bonuses and the final details between the two clubs.
The deal now appears to be entering its final stages. If Olivier Tallaron’s information is confirmed, Godts could become one of PSG’s latest attacking reinforcements before the end of the week, in a transfer worth between €50 million and €60 million.
