Kylian Mbappé is set to join Real Madrid next summer. But there’s already some problems as the player wants to play the Olympics in Paris.

With the Paris Olympics scheduled from July 24th to August 9th and the Euro from June 14th to July 14th, France is expected to be present in both competitions until the end. And so is Kylian Mbappé. The player is determined to compete in the Olympics with the French national team.

This poses a significant problem for Real Madrid, according to AS. The Spanish club has planned a lucrative summer tour in the United States. The executives need Mbappé for this tour to fill their coffers.

Over the past two years, Real Madrid has earned around 15 million euros for four matches during these tours. With Mbappé, the amount could increase considerably.

However, the window of opportunity will not be extensive. Mbappé is expected to be presented in July between the Olympics and the pre-season tour. Then he would join the tour at the end of July. But what about the Olympics? The schedule is challenging, with an increased risk of injury. Real Madrid could indeed refuse Mbappé to participate in the Olympics. They have the right to do so because it is not a FIFA date.
