Jean-Claude Blanc will be at the helm to manage Manchester United’s transfer dealings this summer.

Manchester United turns to a Frenchman, temporarily. Jean-Claude Blanc, CEO of Ineos Sport and minority shareholder of the Red Devils, will temporarily occupy the same position within the English club.

His arrival comes after the departure of Patrick Stewart, who will be replaced by Omar Berrada starting July 13th. Until then, the former general manager of Paris Saint-Germain will lead the club and will have the important task of managing the start of the transfer window, crucial for the reconstruction of Manchester United’s squad.

Jean-Claude Blanc had left PSG in 2022 to join Nice, also owned by INEOS. MU will have much to contend with, perhaps a new coach and the recruitment of many new players.
