Frédéric Antonetti, coach and consultant, suggests that Kylian Mbappé will remain silent for now amid rumors linking him to Real Madrid.
According to Antonetti, Mbappé’s strategy is to wait until PSG’s UEFA Champions League journey ends before making any announcements.
“Kylian Mbappé won’t say anything. At least, not right away. According to Frédéric Antonetti, the player’s plan is to speak out once PSG is no longer in the Champions League. Because Paris could very well face… Real Madrid,” explained the Canal Football Club consultant. “If he announces his departure before, the match could be complicated for him, for PSG, and even for Real Madrid. It’s always delicate. It’s a disruptive situation for the player and for Paris.”
“However, if tomorrow he decides to leave, I think it will be a good thing for him because he needs to reflect on himself. And going to Madrid will allow him to do that. It will also give him the opportunity to experience something else because I believe he’s done it all,” the coach added.
