On Sunday night (19th matchday of Ligue 1), Luis Enrique made some changes. The captain of PSG, Marquinhos, was on the bench, much to everyone’s surprise.
However, there was no disciplinary action from the Spanish coach. According to Le Parisien, the 29-year-old central defender and captain was not included in the starting lineup due to a minor physical discomfort.
He later came on as a substitute towards the end of the match and reclaimed the captain’s armband initially given to Mbappé.
