Champions League: Arsenal Face Their Nemesis PSG Again

Paris Saint-Germain secured their place in the Champions League final after drawing 1-1 with Bayern Munich, taking advantage of their 5-4 victory in the first leg. In the final, the Parisian club will meet a familiar opponent: Arsenal.

The Gunners arrive with an impressive run in European competition. Mikel Arteta’s men are unbeaten in their last 14 Champions League matches, recording 11 wins and 3 draws. More broadly, Arsenal have suffered only two defeats in their last 24 European games.

PSG Continue to Haunt Arsenal in Europe

However, one detail is likely to worry the London supporters: both of those defeats came against PSG. Last season, the Parisian side had already crushed Arsenal’s European dream in the semi-finals, winning 1-0 in the first leg before securing a 2-1 victory in the return match.

This new final will therefore carry a sense of revenge for Arsenal, while Paris will try to confirm their recent dominance over the English club and finally lift the long-awaited trophy.

The showdown is set for May 30 in a clash that already promises to deliver plenty of excitement.
