Kang-in Lee has signed for Atlético, bringing his PSG journey to an end. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has already completed every step required following his arrival in Spain. Official Announcement Expected Within Hours

The transfer is fully completed, with only Atlético Madrid’s approval needed before Kang-in Lee’s arrival can be officially announced. PSG are set to receive around €40 million, including bonuses—a strong financial deal for the French champions, who signed him from Mallorca in the summer of 2023. Luis Enrique regularly relied on his versatility and technical ability, but intense competition in Paris’s attack gradually reduced his playing time.

By joining Atlético, Kang-in Lee returns to a league he knows well following his spells with Valencia and Mallorca. Diego Simeone is counting on his creativity and ability to play both in midfield and on the wings. For PSG, the departure forms part of the club’s ongoing squad overhaul, and the €40 million fee could quickly be reinvested to finance a new attacking signing.

Barring a last-minute reversal, the transfer should be officially confirmed within the next few hours, definitively ending Kang-in Lee’s time in Paris.
