Maghnes Akliouche’s transfer saga has taken another twist. While Paris Saint-Germain appeared to be leading the race, Liverpool have now entered the battle for the highly rated French international.
A move to PSG is still far from being finalized. With negotiations progressing more slowly than expected, Liverpool are looking to take advantage. According to Sky Sports, the Reds have contacted AS Monaco to explore the conditions of a potential deal for the winger, setting up direct competition with the French champions.
Liverpool and PSG Set for a Transfer Battle
Sky Sports reports that Liverpool are actively searching for a right-sided attacking player, with Akliouche emerging as one of their priority targets. Monaco, however, are expected to demand a substantial transfer fee for one of their brightest young stars, meaning any deal is likely to require a significant financial commitment.

Akliouche is not the only player attracting interest from both clubs. Liverpool are also closely monitoring Yan Diomandé and are reportedly willing to invest heavily, with an offer worth around €100 million already submitted. RB Leipzig are said to be holding out for more than €130 million. Meanwhile, PSG are preparing changes in attack as Kang-In Lee edges closer to a move to Atlético Madrid, a departure that could accelerate the club’s transfer plans. With both Akliouche and Diomandé on the radar of Europe’s two heavyweights, the coming days could see an intense bidding war unfold.
