Al-Hilal are preparing another sensational move in the transfer market. After making progress in their pursuit of Crysencio Summerville, the Saudi club now want to sign Ousmane Dembélé, one of Paris Saint-Germain’s biggest stars.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, initial contact has already been made with the French international’s representatives. The Riyadh-based side are now waiting to learn the player’s position before taking the matter further.
Al-Hilal Wait for Dembélé’s Approval
Al-Hilal’s strategy is clear. The Saudi club first want to secure an agreement in principle from Dembélé. Should he respond positively, negotiations would then be opened directly with PSG. However, the deal looks extremely difficult, as Dembélé remains a key part of the Paris project and his status has grown even further since winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
Paris have no intention of letting their attacker leave easily. On the contrary, the French champions are working on a contract extension to secure the former Barcelona player’s long-term future. Al-Hilal would therefore have to submit an exceptional offer to have any chance of changing PSG’s position.
The Saudi club have considerable financial resources, but the final outcome could depend above all on Dembélé’s wishes. The saga is probably only beginning, with Al-Hilal’s ambitions and PSG’s determination to keep their star potentially turning this into one of the summer transfer window’s biggest stories.
