The Yan Diomandé transfer saga is beginning to grow tense. Although the 19-year-old Ivorian winger has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain on a contract until 2031, the French champions have still not submitted an official offer to RB Leipzig.
Diomandé has made Paris his preferred destination, but the deal is dragging on. According to BILD, his representatives from the powerful Roc Nation agency are becoming increasingly frustrated and are putting pressure on PSG to clarify their position and accelerate negotiations with Leipzig.
PSG Urged to Make a Concrete Offer
The player’s camp does not want to wait indefinitely, especially with several European giants ready to move. Liverpool reportedly had a €100 million bid rejected, while Arsenal, Real Madrid and Manchester City are also said to be prepared to invest a similar amount. Leipzig, however, are demanding at least €120 million for a player under contract until 2030 and without a release clause.

The German club has also considered selling Diomandé while keeping him on loan for another season, an option that would not appeal to Luis Enrique, who wants to add the winger to his squad immediately. Leipzig are nevertheless starting to question whether they can keep him against his wishes without creating tensions similar to those surrounding Xavi Simons.
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Red Bull executive Oliver Mintzlaff were both in New York for the World Cup final, potentially giving them an opportunity to discuss the transfer. PSG remain Diomandé’s first choice, but their advantage is becoming increasingly fragile. After securing the player’s agreement, Paris must now turn it into a formal bid or risk losing him to one of Europe’s other major clubs.
