Luis Enrique has made it clear that Marquinhos will continue as captain of PSG, as determined by the recent player vote, and the PSG coach will not alter this decision.
The matter has been settled, as Luis Enrique won’t reconsider the outcome of this week’s captaincy vote. Marquinhos will retain his position as captain.
“Marquinhos is a leader on and off the field. He’s a player you want to emulate, and that’s what we’re looking for. We want a captain to represent his team. It’s the players’ decision, not mine,” affirmed Luis Enrique during Friday’s press conference.
